Srikanth is from India and is pursuing his PhD on exploring the opportunities and challenges for uptake of small scale sustainable community-based renewable energy projects in developing countries through Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and carbon financing

Kenrick Burke

Kenrick is from St Vincent and the Grenadines and he holds BSc Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies. He is currently enrolled as a Master Student presently completing his papers year. He has a keen interest in Wind Energy development.

Ehimen Ehiaze

Ehimen is currently carrying out his PhD investigating possible energy improvements achievable by the application of the biorefinery concept to biodiesel production from microalgae. He previously holds a European MSc. in Environmental technology and management and a BSc. (Hons) degree in Biochemistry.

Sam is doing a PhD on Computational modelling and experimental investigation of domestic heat pump drying systems.

Muthasim is from the Maldive Islands in the Indian Ocean and is enrolled in an PhD investigating aspects of heat transfer as it applies to timber drying

 

 

 

 

 

Keron Niles

Keron is from Trinidad and Tobago and joined the Department as a PhD student in Energy Studies in September 2009. His topic is Energy Security and he has a co-supervisor in the Law Department.  He has a BSc Government from The University of West Indies and an LLM International Law from the University of Aberdeen.
