About Our Group

Welcome to the Otago Quantum Optics Group at the University of Otago!

We are a relatively new group doing exciting research on quantum information, quantum computing and optics. Currently our research focus is on quantum information system using rare earth ions, as well as the optical detection of ultrasound. The group is led by Dr. Jevon Longdell.
