Electronics Research

The Electronics Research Programme is strongly based around the graduate Masters and PhD programmes in Electronics.  Our students work on the development of exciting new technologies, and our graduates are highly sought after both in New Zealand and internationally.

Our research is funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the Marsden Fund, and by some of New Zealand's most innovative companies

Our Main Topics of Research include

  • Fast algorithms for imaging and inference
  • New technologies for signal processing and analysis
  • Next generation wildlife tracking systems
  • Online database for wildlife tracking
  • Development of physical models for novel devices
  • Vibro-acoustics of the built environment
  • Semi-analytic methods for complex systems
