Cold Atom Theory Workshop 2008

Rydges Lakeland Resort Queenstown New Zealand,
December 12, 2008

Overview:
The Cold Atom Theory Workshop is a satellite meeting immediately after the Dodd-Walls Symposium.
There will be a large number of local and international cold atom theorists present at the symposium, and the workshop aims to be a specialized forum to allow these people to interact.
The workshop organization and programme committee consists of: Blair Blakie, Ashton Bradley, Joachim Brand and Matthew Davis. Due to the limited time available for the meeting the committee has decided to target a few areas to focus on and a few speakers have been selected. The workshop will be small (about 28 people - larger than we initially anticipated!) and the aim is to encourage lively discussion and idea exchange during the day.

Invited Guest Lecturers:

Prof. Peter Zoller (University of Innsbruck, Austria)

Asst. Prof. Yuki Kawaguchi (University of Tokyo, Japan)

Dr Andrew Daley (University of Innsbruck, Austria)

Programme:
A programme for the workshop is available here (updated Dec. 5, 2008).
