ELEC 403: Antennas and Transmission LinesOverviewThis course is an introduction to mechanisms of electromagnetic radiation, transmission lines and antenna theory including antenna simulation and design. The course covers the theory and practical use of transmission lines including the Smith Chart. Numerical Electromagnetism using Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) and Method of Moments (MoM) techniquies. In addition, you will learn about antenna simulation using the NEC-2 package, and its use for the design of practical antennae. Prerequisites: ELEC 353 PHSI 262Restrictions: NoneLecturersLinks
