What does it look like??

Below we show the images (in steps of 1 ms) of the two clouds when the double-well trap is ramped to single-well. The atomic clouds are the red dots approaching from the sides. The temperature of each cloud is approximately 200 nK. When they collide a halo of scattered particles is clearly visible. After the collision the clouds (and the halos) keep on oscillating in the harmonic well
